A TWICE-the-limit Herefordshire drink-driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught behind the wheel.
Ian Hodges entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard the 57-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta while over the drink-drive limit in Worcester's St Peter's Drive on February 14.
An evidential breath test revealed he had 84 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Hodges, of Brampton Road, Ross-on-Wye, was handed a 12-month community order with 40 hours of unpaid work and disqualified from driving for 40 months. He must also pay costsof £135 and a £95 victim surcharge.
