AN UNINSURED Land Rover driver has escaped a roads ban in order to take her children to school.
Rebecca Charmaine Powell, 35, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard Powell had been caught driving a Land Rover without insurance at Ebnall in Herefordshire on June 1.

Powell, of Oak Crescent, Clehonger, was fined £300, received six penalty points, and was ordered to pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
No totting disqualification was made as, the court heard, Powell needs to drive to take her children to school and college and to visit a relative who has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimers, and a roads ban would cause exceptional hardship.
