A MAN has died in Hereford after the air ambulance landed at what paramedics described as a medical emergency.
The Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham landed in the Whitecross area of the city shortly after 9am on Friday morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said the helicopter was joined at the scene by two ambulances and a paramedic officer after being called to reports of a medical emergency in Marlowe Drive at 9.06am.
But a spokesperson said one man was found in a critical condition and already receiving medical attention from bystanders when crews arrive.

They said that ambulance staff gave advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save the man.
He was confirmed dead at the scene.
