A HEREFORD thief stole a 43-inch TV from a Hereford supermarket, a court has heard.
Daniel Jones entered guilty pleas when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 35-year-old had attempted to steal a bicycle worth £50 in Hereford on February 5.

He had also stolen a bicycle worth £850 in Hereford on February 8, and a 43-inch Sharp smart TV worth £279.99 from Hereford's Belmont Road Tesco supermarket on February 10.
Jones, of Belmont Road, Hereford, received a 12-month community order and was ordered to pay compensation of £20 to the first bicycle owner and £279.99 to Tesco. He must also pay a £95 victim surcharge.
No costs were imposed due to his lack of means.
