A TEENAGER has appeared in court for the first time since being charged with murdering a baby in Herefordshire.
Paris Mayo, 18, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court charged with killing baby Stanley Mayo in Ross-on-Wye.
The court heard that Mayo, appearing via video link from Hereford police station, allegedly killed the new-born on March 23, 2019.
Wearing a light grey cardigan and grey tracksuit trousers, Mayo, of Denehurst, Ruardean Woodside in the Forest of Dean, spoke only to confirm her name, age and address.
Deputy district judge Simon Ralph remanded Mayo in custody and appear at Worcester Crown Court within the next 48 hours.
