A HEREFORDSHIRE village has installed CCTV in a bid to combat antisocial behaviour in the area.
Withington, near Hereford has had the cameras fitted around the village hall after concerns were raised by parishioners.
Withington Group Parish Council has paid £2,500 for the installation around the village hall, which includes all round the building, the car park, the path leading to the Coppice and the entrance and exit of Withington fields.

As part of the cost, signs have been put up to tell people about the area being controlled by CCTV.
The cameras went live last week and will cost £100 a year to maintain. The suggestion put forward in January's parish council meeting was to purchase the cameras out of the Parish Council's general reserves.
