FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a Herefordshire beauty spot.
Crews from Ross-on-Wye and Whitchurch fire stations were called to battle the fire at Coppett Hill in Whitchuch at 9.30pm last night.
On arrival, they found the fire in the open involved trees and hawthorn bushes.
A fire service spokesperson said the crews worked to battle the blaze using backpacks, a hose reel jet, a water jet, and beaters.
