A MAN looking to try one of Hereford’s best and most famous burgers drove 100 miles to find the kitchen was closed.
On his hunt for the greatest cheeseburger in the UK, Instagram and TikTok influencer Mashtag Brady made a special journey to Beefy Boys, in Hereford’s Old Market, to try its award-winning burgers.
But when he arrived, he was told its kitchen was closed due to an issue with the extraction fan, he said.
This didn’t stop his quest to try a burger from Hereford, as he then went to the city’s other burger restaurant Burger Shop.

The restaurant based in Aubrey Street is owned by A Rule of Tum, a collective of restaurants in Herefordshire and Worcestershire owned by brothers Edwin and Dorian Kirk.
Recently it won the best burger of 2021 award on food website Restaurant Guru and are finalists in this year's National Burger Awards.
Last week it reopened after a refurbishment with new milkshakes and sundaes added to its menu.
Mashtag Brady tried the golden arches, a burger made of double grass-fed beef patty, double mature cheddar, white onion, baby gem, dill pickles, burger shop sauce, and a bun.
In an expletive-laden review, Mashtag tells viewers: “The meat is incredible bro.
“Ever so slightly pink which is peng.
“The cheese is more of a cheddar cheese, and you know I like an American cheese, but it works.
"The flavours are there."
He gave it a 7.7 out of 10.

He also tried the rosemary fries which left him slightly disappointed.
After his disappointment with Beefy boys the Burger Shop came through, he said.
A spokesperson from Beefy Boys said: “Unfortunately our extraction system broke down on Sunday for three hours, we will get in touch with him and offer him a meal on us as an apology.”
The TikTok star also heaped praise on a Worcester pub Smokin Brad's at The Firefly in Lowesmoor on his quest.
