PLANNERS have given the green light for a new swimming pool to be built at a house near Leominster.
Herefordshire Council development manager Andrew Banks ruled that Stewart Robinson could build an extension, incorporating a dining room, terrace and pool at The Lynch Farm in Little Hereford.
The extension, which will be built with red brick, plain clay tiles, painted softwood windows and UPVC sliding patio doors, received no objections from Brimfield and Little Hereford Group Parish Council.
Case officer Emily Brooks said in her report recommending approval that the extension was "somewhat large".
But she said it would be an "appropriately sized addition" when considering the main house.
"The design of the addition compliments and reflects the host through materials to match the host dwelling and matching architectural details such as the windows and window features," she said.
"There is sufficient distancing to neighbouring properties to alleviate concerns to their amenity."
