- Tom Owen-Evans forced the Telford goalkeeper into a flying fifth minute save flicking a ball into the box goal-wards which was just denying by a flying Luke Pilling.
- Telford find themselves at the bottom end of the table fighting for safety and beating the off-side trap Ryan Burke saw his effort from a tight angle saved.
- Harry Pinchard was making his mark in midfield and created a move for Ryan Lloyd who saw his effort saved down low.
- Pinchard himself was next to go close seeing his effort skim off the surface before sailing inches wide.
- The Bulls were searching for the opener and McLean worked his way in from the wing with a neat one-two with Pinchard before seeing his first effort blocked and rebound saved.
- Playing as a striker Tom Owen-Evans then had an opportunity playing a one-two with Ryan Lloyd before seeing his effort inside the box blocked by Jordan Piggott.
- A minute before the break Hereford took the lead when a jinked ball into the box found Owen-Evans who flicked the ball over the goalkeeper.
- Deep into first half stoppage time Harry Flowers had a free header to reply but sent his effort over.
