FIREFIGHTERS have spent the night battling a barn blaze in a village near Hereford.
A fire service spokesperson said two crews from Hereford, one from Leominster and one from Fownhope fire stations along with the water carrier from Leominster and the incident command unit from Ledbury were called at 10.25pm on April 21 to an agricultural building fire in Sutton St Nicholas.
Crews found a building, around 10m by 10m, on fire and this was put out using hosereel jets and main jets with a thermal imaging camera also deployed.
LPG cylinders were removed from the building.
The incident was marked as pending closure at 3.26am but a reinspection using the thermal imaging camera has taken place this morning.
Orchard Lane in Sutton St Nicholas remains closed this morning, with the barn completely destroyed by the fire.
