A HEREFORDSHIRE secondary school has issued a warning to parents and students as roadworks are set to cause disruption.
Fairfield High School, in the Golden Valley village of Peterchurch, said drainage works would shut the B4348 for eight days.
The work will take place from Newton Middlewood To Cross Lodge, Dorstone, but only between 9am and 3.30pm.
But the school said that would "impact the start and end of the school day".
It added: "We would therefore encourage students setting off earlier to school for this week, so not to be late as a result of these works.
Two-way traffic lights will be in place outside of working hours, including the weekend, Herefordshire Council contractor Balfour Beatty Living Places said.
