A DRUNKEN man called a police officer a 'piggy' in an early morning incident in Hereford city centre.
Simon Caban admitted one count of being drunk and disorderly when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
Police had been made aware of a disorder in Hereford's Commercial Street at 3.35am on April 3, prosecutor Eleanor Peart said.
Officers approached Caban, who appeared to be under the influence, and who called them 'piggy' and an expletive and shouted that he was going to knock them out.
Caban was given the opportunity to go home but did not leave, the court heard, and was arrested as a result.

Speaking on his own behalf, 19-year-old Caban said he did not know what to say.
"I remember what happened and I accept it happened," he said.
"This was not really normal for me and I was having a bad day."
The court heard Caban has lost his part-time job and is not currently in work or claiming benefits but is looking for work.
Caban, of Marlbrook Road, Hereford, was fined £60 and must pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
