A HEREFORD woman was more than three times the drink-drive limit when she was caught behind the wheel of a 4x4 on a busy Herefordshire main road.
Kerry Harrington entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.
Police had been made aware of a possible drink-driver in Herefordshire on April 1, prosecutor Eleanor Peart said.
Officers caught up with Harrington, who was behind the wheel of a black Toyota Landcruiser on the A438 at Trumpet between Hereford and Ledbury at 2.50pm, and she was asked to carry out a roadside breath test.

Harrington failed the roadside test and was arrested and taken into custody, where an evidential breath test revealed she had 120 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times the legal limit of 35.
Philip Cornell, for 41-year-old Harrington, said it was a "tip of the iceberg situation" and that he would ask for the case to be referred for a full pre-sentencing report to be carried out by probation.
The case was adjourned for three weeks for the report to be carried out and Harrington, who is of Quarry Hill, Hereford, will appear before magistrates again on May 16.
