A HEREFORD attacker has been handed a suspended sentence after assaulting a woman and breaching his restraining order.
David Paul Newbury entered guilty pleas to magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard the 46-year-old had been in the company of a woman he was banned from contacting by a restraining order at his home and on the Great Western Way in Hereford on April 25, and assaulted a different woman by beating in Hereford on May 4.

The second offence put him in breach of a conditional discharge imposed by magistrates in Hereford on April 28, the court heard.
Newbury, of Longmeadow, Hereford, was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months. He was also handed a 12-month restraining order and must pay compensation of £130 to the assault victim,
