UPDATE: A spokesperson from Hereford Safer Neighbourhood Team said she has now been identified and returned home safely.
POLICE have launched an appeal to help identify an elderly woman who entered Hereford County Hospital yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
Officers are trying to locate any friends or family of this woman, who arrived at the hospital at around 4pm on the afternoon of Monday 16 May with no identification on her person.
She is unable to recall who she is, or where she is from, and Police are appealing for any help to identify her.
The lady is described as white, and around 80 years of age, she has short grey hair and is wearing a grey t-shirt with a cream jacket and a blue denim skirt, and was carrying a black handbag.
Anyone who is able to help identify the woman, is asked to call 101, quoting incident 407 i of May 16.
