A NEW Turkish restaurant has officially opened where Pizza Express once stood in Hereford.
La'De Kitchen has taken over the building formerly home to the pizza chain restaurant.
The Broad Street restaurant, which used the be Hereford's post office, was left empty in 2020 after the coronavirus pandemic hit.
Restaurants shut their doors in March as lockdown started, and Pizza Express never reopened its Hereford branch.

The new restaurant opened on Monday (May 16) with a menu full of Mediterranean dishes using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients.
A list of Turkish delicacies was on menu such as kebabs, lahmacun and desserts.
The new La'De Kitchen sign hangs on the building in place of the Pizza Express sign.
A new bar stands on the left as your walk through the recognisable glass double doors of the building.
The lay-out inside is largely the same as it was with the booths, black tables, and an open kitchen, but now there are new chefs cooking new dishes.
The toilets also haven't changed, and the building still allows the restaurant to be large and spacious.
La'De Kitchen is a family-owned, innovative and contemporary Mediterranean restaurant with dishes served in an authentic set-up.
It currently has several restaurants in the south and has now added Hereford to that list.
