HEREFORDSHIRE celebrity Richard Hammond has shared how his precious dog is doing after an operation.
He posted on Instagram that his dog Blea was on the mend after a trip to the vets.
“She is back to full health after an operation,” he said.
“Next thing is to get out and running together again.”
Hammond has four dogs called Blea, Captain, Dimple Chicken and Sparrow.

Blea is a Cumbrian collie and her ancestors have worked the fells with Hammond’s shepherd friend, Les who lives in Buttermere, with her mother being Les’ ‘best dog’ Tess.
Hammond came to visit Les when Blea was a very young puppy, and he took a picture of her and sent it to his wife Mindy.
Mrs Hammond then secretly spoke with Les and came to collect her as a surprise for Mr Hammond.
