POLICE in Hereford have shared pictures of scary weapons taken off the streets during a week-long operation.
Operation Sceptre is a national campaign which takes place twice a year.
During that time, police forces across the country try to highlight the dangers of knife crime, including by having amnesty points.

West Mercia Police has had an amnesty point at its station in Hereford's Bath Street, with officers now sharing pictures of some of the weapons handed over anonymously.
Among the 128 weapons surrendered include kitchen knives, meat cleavers and knuckledusters.

Police said: "PCSO House checked on the knife surrender bin following last week's #OpSceptre campaign, 128 potential weapons now off of the street."
As well as amnesties, officers from forces across the country also carry out a range of activities including targeted operations, engagement and education to reassure young people they are safer not carrying knives, and to walk away from harm.
