I WAS extremely disappointed to see that Herefordshire Council has decided to keep appointments only at recycling centres across Herefordshire.
I am sure it is very popular with people who have all the time in the world to book a slot and go, but for the majority of people who are working it is ridiculous.
We should be able to turn up when we are able to do so, and sometimes that will be when we are passing.

All it does is promote more fly-tipping, less recycling and more landfill because items for the tip will go into the general rubbish.
Most other councils have stopped this, and quite right too. Please, Herefordshire Council, rethink this ridiculous rule.
