A HEREFORDSHIRE shop owner is toasting the return of a popular summer food festival to the county.
Gareth Clark, owner of Bees Knees Cook Shop in Kington, is looking forward to welcoming visitors back for the town's Summer Food Festival for the first time in three years.
The event was introduced in 2017 to complement the town's already popular winter food and drink festival, but was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid.
The festival returns as part of the town's jubilee celebrations on Saturday June 4.
The festival will feature some of the best food and drink producers from the Marches and is supported by local nurseries who will add a splash of colour with their flowers and plants.

There will be a mix of street food, cocktails and live music along with the quality local produce to enjoy.
The festival’s main sponsor is British Cassis and will feature top quality food and drink from the area supported with music by popular band Little Rumba who will be performing from 11.30am.
The event will take place at Place De Marines, the Coach House, the market hall, outside the museum, Cloud Nine car park and Mill Street car park.
Mr Clark, one of the organisers of the Kington Summer Food Festival said:
"We have some great new stalls as well as people's favourites and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the summer food festival after the last two difficult years."
