A HEREFORDSHIRE driver has been fined by magistrates after he was caught using his phone while driving.
Michael Bayley entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Birmingham,
The 54-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Lexus while in a position where he could not have proper control of the vehicle in Hagley Road, Edgbaston, on November 23.

Magistrates heard he had been holding his mobile in both hands and typing a message while steering with his wrist.
Bayley, of Bridge Street, Kington, was fined £100 and received three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £110 and a £34 victim surcharge.
