A HEREFORDSHIRE town has been decorated in a unique way for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Members of the Leominster Freewheelers group have spent the last few months knitting covers for bollards around the town.
To do this they have reused knitted and crocheted poppies from the displays which were around the town in 2018 commemorating the end of the First World War.
Many members of the Leominster community have been involved making red , white and blue flowers which decorate the covers.

They then used the knitted flowers that had been donated by the public to finish the special jubilee decorations.
About 100 covers were made to help brighten up the town centre in time for the jubilee bank holiday.
Members of Leominster in Bloom spent the weekend fitting the newly made covers onto bollards around the town.
A spokesperson for Leominster in Bloom said: "The freewheelers coordinated the job from hundreds of flowers kindly produced by a great many local knitters.
"Thank you one and all."
