A HEREFORDSHIRE town is marking the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a scarecrow festival.
Organisers of Bromyard Scarecrow Festival have asked local residents, organisations and businesses to get involved with its annual event.
This year, the theme is momentous events of the last 70 years to mark the Queen's 70 years on the throne.
You’ll find around 20 scarecrows dotted around the town and visitors can take part and have a chance of winning a prize.
On Thursday, a parade of some of the scarecrows and their designers left the churchyard at St Peter's Church at 7.30pm, marching through the town.
Hundreds of people watched as the procession rolled by, including popping out of pubs to get a glimpse.
The Hereford Times was there, and there was a good atmosphere in the town as the sun shone on the procession.
Pupils from St Peter's, Bredenbury and Rowden House schools took part, as well as the local Guides.
Competition forms can be found at the kiosk in front of the leisure centre over bank holiday weekend.
