A HEREFORDSHIRE musician has won been awarded a certificate by the Queen for his contribution over the jubilee weekend.
Keith Wellings, of Hope-Under-Dinmore, near Leominster, is a Highland piper and ex-British diplomat who has performed across the country and produced two albums, Burning Sands and Facing North.
Over the four-day bank holiday he was awarded the certificate of Recognition for the Queen's jubilee, for his performance at the beacon lighting ceremony in Letterston, Pembrokeshire.

Mr Wellings received the award on the day of his performance, Thursday June 2.
He was truly honoured to receive this with its sincere thanks from the Queen's Pageant Master, Bruno Peek, he said.
