Three men have paid tribute to a much-loved father, friend and colleague and undertaken an epic challenge in his memory.
Friends Chris Roff, from Builth Wells, and Mark Stancer and Steve Ennis, both from Tewkesbury, kayaked the river Wye for 85 miles from Glasbury, near Hay-on-Wye, through Herefordshire to Redbrook, near Monmouth.
On April 26 this year, Chris' dad Nigel Roff died at home after a short battle with oesophageal cancer, which affects the wind pipe.
Mr Ennis said: "I worked with Nigel for the last 16 years at Wiltshire Farm Foods. You couldn’t meet a nicer man.

"We’re absolutely gutted for Chris and his family. Doing the kayak challenge has given us a chance to do something positive as a tribute to Nigel."
The friends have now raised nearly £2000 for Macmillan Cancer Support in Hereford, who cared for Mr Roff while he was ill.
Chris Roff said of the challenge and his father: "Dad was such a caring, loving man who would do anything to help anyone.
"MacMillan Cancer Hereford helped us all when Dad became ill so when Steve mentioned doing a fundraiser to give back to them it was a no brainer.
"I hope the money raised can help benefit others in the same situation as our family."
