A HEREFORDSHIRE will be getting a full-time post office once more after the retirement of the former postmaster last year.
Post Office is planning to re-open Bodenham Post Office at Saffrons Cross Garage in Bodenham, Hereford.
This full-time branch will open re-open on August 8 at 1pm, restoring a full-time, permanent, Post Office service to the area.
The opening hours of the new branch will be Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 7pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm.
A Post Office counter will be alongside the retail counter of the convenience store inside a petrol station.

The new postmaster will carry out works to create a marked pedestrian walkway, from the pavement in front of the forecourt to provide safe access to the entrance of the new premises.
The previous Bodenham Post Office branch closed in April 2021 due to the retirement of the Postmaster.
Currently the community is served by a temporary, part-time, mobile post office at Bodenham Enterprise Park. This will cease on August 2.
Katimay John, Post Office network provision lead said: “We are delighted to soon be restoring a full-time, permanent, Post Office to this area as we know how important a Post Office is. This full-time branch will be convenient for customers to visit.”
We are keen to restore this branch to the area as soon as possible, so we have decided to go ahead with our plans.
The opportunity to give feedback will close on June 29. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 159618.
