HEREFORD’S snooker centre temporarily closed at the weekend after an investigation.
Hereford Snooker and pool centre was opened in Coningsby Street in 1983, and is now run by a local company, Philip Morris & Son.
Philip Morris & Son is a retail department shop based in Hereford and took over the business in the summer of 2009.
Inside there are two bespoke nine pin skittle alleys, extra tables, a function room, a bar and a shop.

The centre wrote on its website that it would be closed from June 4, but as of this morning (June 8) it reopened.
Owner Bruce Jones said the sudden temporary closure was due to an internal lease investigation, but the team is now confident it is safe to be open.

Internal leasing, also known as internal rent, is when a company owning its own premises forces single department in that company to pay rent.
This is typically organised by one department which acts as a landlord, while the other departments are tenants.
