MOTORBIKES roared into a Herefordshire town to mark the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War.
Falklands veterans from the Royal Welsh Guards visited Ross-on-Wye on June 21 on their many motorbikes.
They visited all memorials in the area for the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War.

In 1982, the Welsh Guards formed part of the 5th Infantry Brigade of the British Task Force sent to liberate the Falkland Islands from Argentinian occupation during the Falklands War, which ended that same year.
After suffering through six weeks of military defeats against Britain's armed forces, Argentina surrendered to Great Britain, ending the Falklands War. The Falkland Islands, located about 300 miles off the southern tip of Argentina, had long been claimed by the British.
