HEREFORDSHIRE drivers have been ordered to pay hundreds of pounds after failing to tell police who was driving their car.
Carol Jane Trinder, 53, was proven guilty by magistrates in Bath.
The court heard Trinder had failed to identify the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence to police in Avon and Somerset on December 1.
Trinder, of Merryhill Terrace, Belmont, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. She must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
Donna Lawley, 44, was proven guilty by magistrates in Mold. The court heard Lawley had failed to identify the driver of a Volkswagen who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence to police in Denbighshire on February 7.
Lawley, of Biddulph Way, Ledbury, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. She must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
