A HEREFORD man has been sent for trial after denying five offences.
David Furnell appeared before Worcester Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing after previously appearing before magistrates in Kidderminster
The court heard he is accused of engaging in coercive and controlling behaviour towards another person, sending money, threatening to disclose sexual recordings and images, and making threatening calls and threats to self harm between July 1 and May 7.

He is also accused of stalking a woman, causing alarm and distress, in Hereford between July 1 and May 6, and assaulting a woman in Hereford by beating between February 28 and April 1 and between March 31 and May 1.
The 53-year-old is further accused of intentionally touching a woman without consent in Hereford between February 28 and April 1.
Furnell, of Holmer Road, Hereford, entered not guilty pleas to all five charges. He was remanded in custody and will appear before Worcester Crown Court for trial in October.
