A MOTORCYCLIST has died in a serious crash on a main road between Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.
Road closures are in place following a serious four-vehicle crash on the A417 over the Herefordshire border in Gloucestershire last night, June 22, Gloucestershire Constabulary said.
Police were called shortly after 10.30pm with a report of a crash between Maisemore and Gloucester.
The crash involved two motorcycles and two cars. One of the motorcyclists, a man, died at the scene, police said.
Closures are in place on the A417 between Maisemore and the A40 Over roundabout while an investigation continues.
The closures are expected to remain in place throughout the morning, and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, has dashcam footage, or who has any information which could assist the investigation and has not already spoken to police is asked to come forward.
