A WEATHER warning is in force for Herefordshire today.
The county may be waking up to sunshine this morning (June 23) after stunning summer weather yesterday, but a Met Office yellow warning for thunderstorms is in force from 10am to midnight.
The Met Office said thunderstorms are likely to break out in some areas, particularly during the afternoon and early evening today.

Most places are likely to miss the worst of the weather, forecasters said, but where thunderstorms do occur there is a chance that up to 40mm of rain could fall in an hour.
These torrential downpours may be accompanied by frequent lightning, the Met Office said, with a possibility of gusty winds and hail in places.
Forecasters said it is hard to pinpoint exactly where thunderstorms will happen, and the warning area will be kept under review.
