A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Hereford, paramedics say.
The crash, between a car and a pedestrian, has left Belmont Road partially blocked through Wednesday morning.
Traffic website Inrix said the A465 Belmont Road has been slow due to a crash partially blocking the major road near Belmont Avenue.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said that one woman has been taken to hospital by paramedics.
Paramedics were called at 8.40am this morning to reports of a crash between a car and pedestrian at the junction of Belmont Road and Belmont Avenue, a spokesperson said.
One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene.

On arrival, crews found one patient, a woman, who was the pedestrian.
She was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Hereford Hospital for further treatment.
