POLICE have launched an investigation after the sudden death of a man in Hereford this morning (Sunday).
West Mercia Police said officers are currently treating the death as unexplained.

A spokesperson said the man's family has been informed.
They said officers were called at around 9.20am on Sunday morning to a property in Villa Street, Hereford, by the ambulance service.

Police said officers were called to an unexplained and sudden death of a 29-year-old man in the Hunderton area of the city, in the street which runs alongside the river Wye.
Police did not give any further details when they released a short statement on Sunday afternoon.
