POLICE are stepping up patrols after a number of fires in a Herefordshire field.
A spokesperson for Hereford's Safer Neighbourhood Team said police and firefighters were called to a fire in a field near the railway track and Vernon Williams Close in south Hereford yesterday (July 9).
There have been a number of incidents with the same circumstances in the same location in recent weeks, police said.
