ROYAL Mail has advised staff to return post in Herefordshire due to the extreme heat.
The national postal service has told staff to temporarily return to the office with post if temperatures rise too much in the areas they are delivering.
An email was sent to some customers in Herefordshire warning them of possible disruption to deliveries on Tuesday.
The firm said it did not want staff falling ill because of the heat.
