POLICE are investigating a serious incident in Hereford and are carrying out door-to-door enquiries.
There has been a police presence in the Green Street area of Hereford, off Ledbury Road, for four days, local residents have said.

West Mercia Police officers were first called to the area on Sunday, and the major investigation unit is now probing what it calls a "serious incident".
It happened between midnight and 5am on Sunday (July 17) in Green Street, and the Hereford Times has been told that police are now carrying out door-to-door enquiries to find out anything occupants of nearby houses might know.

Police want to hear about anything "unusual or of note", a letter to local residents, and seen by the Hereford Times, said.
West Mercia Police has not yet commented more widely about the incident.
