TWICE in the last few weeks I have been admitted to Hereford hospital (another long tale of A&E and ambulance woe that I have no room for here) having had heart attacks.
I am now awaiting an operation and could have more heart attacks in the meantime, which means I live in fear.
My last experience of calling 999 meant a wait of up to five hours and then 25 hours sitting in A&E waiting for a bed.

I am trying to sort out a private referral to speed up the process yet I cannot see/speak to a doctor at my surgery in Kington until next week at the earliest.
What on earth is going on in our health service? Please can anyone explain?
