THE Midland TV news last week revealed that the region is hugely increasing the standard numbers for the usual car boot sales, saying it is down to British families seeking to overcome the bigger costs they now have to pay for fuel, food and most of every thing.
One way for them to earn some extra cash is to sort though the house for what is no longer needed, fill the car and take it to a car boot sale.
OTHER NEWS:
Hereford Lions Club has been running a car boot for many years in a field opposite Bookers warehouse on the Aylestone Hill end of the Roman Road for community charity support.
The club has seen the number of car boots going up occasionally to raise extra money for their vital charity fund.
