POLICE have been cracking down on drivers speeding through Herefordshire villages.
Tweets from the Golden Valley Safer Neighbourhood Team said that officers spent Saturday morning (July 23) conducting speed enforcement in Ewyas Harold and Madley, alongside other villages in the area.
A further tweet from Sunday (July 24) said that police had been checking speeds in the villages of Cusop and Clifford.
Officers said that they were pleased to report that all motorists were below the 30 mph speed limits, when they were on patrol on Saturday.

Golden Valley SNT has upped patrols in 2022 following concerns raised from local residents about speeding and road safety in the vicinity.
A tweet on May 6 after one such patrol said that officers would continue to monitor speeds throughout the Golden Valley into the summer months and beyond.
The latest checks come a month after the last round of speed enforcement patrols by the Safer Neighbourhood Team when it checked speeds in Dorstone, Cusop. Ewyas Harold and Madley on the weekend of June 19/20.
