HEREFORDSHIRE firefighters have been tackling a barn fire today, but the building was totally gutted.
Crews from Leominster, Kingsland, Eardisley and Hereford fire stations were called to the scene in Dilwyn this morning at 10.32am (July 26).
A pump and the water carrier from Leominster station were used to tackle the fire in the farm building that was around 200ft by 60ft, said a spokesperson from the fire service.
It was fought using hose jets with no other emergency services involved and no casualties.
Pictures from Leominster fire station show the barn was completely gutted by far, with smoke seen rising from the charred remains.
