GAS main works will see three residential streets in Hereford closed over a period of six weeks.
Herefordshire Council said that Cadent would be carrying out its "gas replacement scheme works" in the five South Wye streets from Monday, August 8.
A public notice published in the Hereford Times said that the closures would be needed due to utility maintenance works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.
