AN ATTACKER who stole beer from a Hereford supermarket has been jailed by magistrates.
Shane Pickersgill entered guilty pleas when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster.
The court heard the 30-year-old had assaulted a woman by beating in Hereford on April 9 and stole a four-pack of San Miguel lager and a bottle of Peroni lager from Marks and Spencer in Hereford on May 4.
He had also failed to surrender at Hereford Magistrates Court on May 25 having been released on bail in criminal proceedings by Hereford police on May 4.

He further admitted causing criminal damage to a door belonging to a woman in Hereford on July 24.
Pickersgill, of Broad Street, Ross-on-Wye, was jailed for a total of 20 weeks as magistrates said he has a flagrant disregard for court orders.
He was also handed a two-year restraining order .
