A TALENTED Herefordshire teenager is appearing alongside dance professionals in a new performance in the Welsh capital.
Lexie Hopkins, 13, from Tarrington, between Ledbury and Hereford, is part of the cast of English Youth Ballet’s new production "Cinderella in Hollywood" showing at the New Theatre in Cardiff on Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20.
Miss Hopkins learnt dance at Two Faced Dance Company in Hereford and currently is learning at Ballet Malvern alongside her schooling at Hereford Cathedral School.

Cinderella in Hollywood is set in the glamorous era of Hollywood movies in the fifties. This lavish production draws its inspiration from the film star Grace Kelly.
Miss Hopkins is playing one of Cinderella's sisters in the production alongside some established names in the ballet world.
She is looking forward to the chance to perform alongside professionals and to learn about the performance world.
She is also hoping to make dancing her career and has ambitions to teach in her own dance school.
Miss Hopkins said: "I'm really excited by the opportunity. The cast will be a mix of students and professionals and its a great chance to learn from people who have been dancing professionally for years."
