FIREFIGHTERS from several Herefordshire stations were called to battle a blaze in a field.
Crews from Peterchurch, Ross-on-Wye, Hereford, and Whitchurch were called to the fire in Drybrook at 12.40pm yesterday.
A fire service spokesperson said crews found a 15 acre field, a tractor, baler, stubble, baled crop, and 400 metres of hedgerow alight on their arrival, a spokesperson said.
The crews worked to put out the fire using six hose reel jets, beaters, and a fogging unit.
