A WOMAN was three times the drink-drive limit when she was caught behind the wheel in a Herefordshire town.
Lisa Gittings entered a guilty plea when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
Prosecutor Mark Hambling said police had stopped to speak to the 39-year-old after following her as she drove a Volkswagen Polo in Ross-on-Wye at 8.15pm on July 15.
Gittings was asked to take a roadside breath test, and was arrested after it returned a positive result. An evidential breath test in custody revealed she had 109 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times the legal limit of 35.

The court heard Gittings was previously banned from the roads for drink-driving in November 2020.
George Cousins, for Gittings, said the case needed to be sent for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by probation.
The case was adjourned and Gittings, of Rudhall View, Ross, will appear before Hereford magistrates next on August 16.
