A HEREFORDSHIRE ice cream maker has been awarded a prestigious accolade for one of its creations.
Berry's Ice Cream, based at the Hop Pocket in Bishop's Frome, near Bromyard, has been named among the top food and drink producers globally this year, picking up a highly prized three star Great Taste award for its Gooseberry and Elderflower ice cream.
The company won Best Dairy Producer at the Three Counties Food & Farming Awards this year with the same product.
More than 14,000 food and drink products were put through Great Taste's judging process.

Recognised as a stamp of excellence and actively sought out by food lovers and retailers alike, Great Taste, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, values taste above all else.
According to the award's website, three stars are typically only awarded to around two per cent of entries each year.
All products in the line-up for judging are blind-tasted to ensure no brands are favoured over others.
Berry's Gooseberry and Elderflower ice cream was described by judges as "very moreish, creamy, rich, indulgent mousse-like ice cream"
Fenella Kenyon Slaney from Berry's Ice Cream said: "We are thrilled to have won a three star Great Taste award for our Gooseberry & Elderflower Ice Cream.
"I am so proud to be adding the iconic black and gold Great Taste logo for our Gooseberry & Elderflower Ice Cream to our two star award for our Damson & Sloe Gin Ice Cream and our one star award for our Dark Chocolate Orange Ice Cream."
"Being recognised with a Great Taste three-star award means so much to independent producers such as myself, as it makes all the hard work and determination worth it.
"Great Taste is the most recognised accolade for taste and quality in the food and drink world, so it really is a big win."
