A HEREFORDSHIRE man sent threatening messages to a woman, a court has heard.
Darren Sutton entered guilty pleas to magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 28-year-old had sent text messages and made phone calls to a woman in Bromyard which conveyed a threat for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to the victim on January 17.

He also admitted two counts of assaulting a woman by beating in Hereford on April 2.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out, and Sutton, of Dry Thistle Close, Bromyard, will appear before Hereford magistrates for sentencing on August 22.
