HEREFORDSHIRE firefighters were called to another combine harvester fire this evening.
Crews from Leintwardine, Leominster, Bromyard and Kingsland fire stations were at the scene at 2.40pm in Tenbury.
Group commander Thom Morgan said crews were called to the combine fire which turned into another fire in the open.
"The Hereford and Worcester fire service crews worked incredibly hard in arduous conditions in the initial stages of this fire to contain it," he said.
"Excellent use of the farmer’s cultivator to make the fire break."
Two Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews, one from Kingsland and the other from Leominster fire station, put out a combine harvester and crop fire in Westhope yesterday at 4.31pm (August 9).
